For the Platinum Jubilee weekend, I visited the Lake District with my boyfriend, brother, and friends, staying in a cozy cottage. We enjoyed boating on Windermere Lake and had a blast quad biking despite the rain. We also explored “Surprise View” and Penrith Castle before tackling the challenging hike up Wansfell Pike. The weather improved on our last day, making the lake even more beautiful, and overall, it was a fantastic trip filled with great memories!

I’m happy to say I’ve found contentment in life, a big change from my 2020 self. Small daily habits, like consistent workouts and cooking healthier meals, have boosted my energy and mood. Now in my third year of medical school, I’m enjoying the hands-on experience in clinical placements. To my past self, I’m sorry you felt so miserable; I’m doing much better now and hope to keep it that way.

I recently had COVID-19, and it was rough, even with three vaccine doses. My symptoms included a high fever, severe sore throat, muscle aches, and loss of appetite. For about four days, I mostly slept and ate soft foods. Thankfully, I’m on the mend and grateful for the vaccines. Stay safe, everyone!

Two weeks ago, my mom, brother, and I hiked Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and England. We reached the summit in about four hours, and the breezy weather made it enjoyable. I’m so proud of my mom for completing the trek at 54. It was a great family outing and a perfect break after studying for my exam. Can’t wait for our next adventure!
