My current skincare routine

Nana July 19, 2022

This year, I have consciously tried to put more effort into my skincare. My skin has become much more clear, and I have less pimples now. My acne scars have also faded a lot. So I thought I’d keep a record of what skincare products I’ve been using to help me with all that.

Disclaimer: I ain’t no skincare guru or anything like that. These are just products that I found to be making a positive impact on my skin.

Cleansers + Makeup Removers

  • Oil cleanser: The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil

    • I only use this to remove my makeup. If I’m not wearing any makeup, I just use the CeraVe cleanser.

  • Eye makeup remover: La Roche-Posay Respectissime Eye Make Up Remover

  • Water cleanser: CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser

    • I use this to cleanse my face twice a day, everyday.

Exfoliator

  • Exfoliator: Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling - Green Tea

    • I love this exfoliator because it exfoliates the skin both chemically and physically. I use this twice a week.

Masks

  • Peef off mask: Innisfree Super Volcanic Peel Off Mask

    • I only use this on my nose to help reduce my pore size once a week.

  • Pore clay mask: Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

    • I feel like this mask has significantly improved my skin. I use it twice a week.

Moisturiser

  • Moisturiser: Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream

    • I moisturise my face with this cream pretty much almost every night.

Lip balms

  • Sun lipstick: Piz Buin Moisturising Sun Lipstick SPF 30

    • I wear this sun lipstick almost everyday in the day time. It’s very moisturising for my lips and helps protect them from UV rays.

  • Lip balm: Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

    • Ever since I started using this lip balm, my lips barely cracks anymore. It’s super moisturising. I put it on every night.

Sunscreen

  • Sunscreen: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Sun Cream

    • I like this sunscreen because it doesn’t make my face look shiny, and it doesn’t leave a white cast. I try to wear it almost everyday now because apparently it helps to reduce acne scars (and protect you from the sun of course).

Hair care

Thought I might share my hair care here too, ‘cause why not? Ahah.

  • Leave-in detangling conditioner: Revlon Equave Instant Leave-In Detangling Conditioner

    • I spray this all over my hair before I blow dry.

  • Hair serum: Function of Beauty Customized Hair Serum

    • I put this on my hair after I blow dry.

What is your skincare routine like?

With love,

Nana
