Hi there, welcome back to my blog series, Recently, where I update you on what’s been happening in my life lately.
Almost done with my master’s degree
And just like that, I’m almost done with my master’s degree in computer science. It genuinely feels like I just started my first day of university yesterday. Now, I’m only 1 exam, 1 coursework and 1 dissertation away from finishing this degree. Time really flies.
Despite staying up till 5 am cramming for my coursework twice (yes, my time management is just not great, there’s nothing else to blame), I can say I genuinely enjoyed this degree. A huge part of why I enjoyed it is because I have an amazing group of friends. Although the course is quite intense, I have friends who are going through it with me - you could say we trauma-bonded haha.
Something happened that made me super happy this semester was this (let me just share a screenshot of my LinkedIn post ahah):
I took my Fujifilm camera to university on the last day of lectures and got some pretty pictures~
My friend group (from left to right): Vu, Agnese, Ambra, me, Nikolay
Greenwich park
A couple weeks ago, my hubby and I went on a walk in Greenwich Park. I also took my Fujifilm camera and snapped some lovely photos :3 We were so lucky to see the gorgeous cherry blossoms!
Chitwan family party
My hubby’s family is from Chitwan, Nepal. Every year, the people from that town would have a get-together/party in the UK. It was my first time attending the party, and I had a good time! The dance performances were amazing, and the food was so yum.
Bits and bobs
One of my fave homecooked meals (salmon teriyaki, cucumber salad, avocado with rice) / Mochi sunbathing / my hubby removing leaves from the car / I got a haircut after a long time
Oh, I guess I should mention that I started working part-time alongside my studies for over 2 months now. I have no idea how I managed to balance my uni workload, part-time job and other life responsibilities but I did it!
Thanks for reading this update on my life. Hope you have a lovely day~
With love,
Nana
